By accessing or using DriveSafe Jamaica (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use our Service. Simple as dat.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DriveSafe Jamaica ("we," "us," or "our"). They apply to our website, mobile app, quiz platform, eBooks, and all related services.

⚠️ Important: Our Service provides educational content for Jamaica driving test preparation. It is not official government material and does not guarantee passing the Island Traffic Authority (ITA) driving test.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old (minimum driving test age in Jamaica) to use this Service.
  • By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Account Responsibilities

🔐 If You Create an Account:

  • You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

🚫 Prohibited Account Uses:

  • Sharing accounts or selling access.
  • Using automated tools (bots) to scrape quiz content.
  • Impersonating others or providing false information.

4. Intellectual Property

  • All content (questions, explanations, designs, logos) is owned by DriveSafe Jamaica or licensed to us.
  • You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning.
  • You may NOT reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
  • Jamaica Highway Code excerpts are used under fair dealing for education; official publications remain property of the Jamaican government.

5. User Conduct (No Funny Business)

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Jamaican law.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person via our platforms.
  • Interfere with Service security or functionality (e.g., hacking, DDoS).
  • Upload viruses, malware, or disruptive code.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action under Jamaica’s Cybercrimes Act, 2015.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • All prices are in USD; Jamaican Dollar (JMD) equivalents are shown for convenience.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe/PayPal; we never store full card details.
  • Refund Policy: Digital products (eBooks, quiz access) are non-refundable after download/access, except where required by Jamaican consumer law.
  • Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of your billing cycle.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

⚠️ EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY: Our Service is for study and practice. We make NO WARRANTIES that:

  • Content is 100% accurate, complete, or up-to-date with the latest Jamaican traffic laws.
  • Using our Service guarantees passing the official Jamaica driving test.
  • The Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Use of our Service is at your own risk. We are not liable for decisions made based on our content.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kingston, Jamaica.
